This just in, from Bowker: In the US in 2007 a total of roughly 411,422 titles were released (not including audiobooks and ebooks). So I was off by several hundred percent, but that’s over 1100 titles per day, every day, averaged throughout the year. Who can review them all? What’s a good way to select a few tenths of a percent of all books to review?
